Wave Runner

Beach Biking

We ended our day on a four seater with a basket for the kids. Matthew was in charge of ringing the bell, Aunt Kathy did the steering for the first half then Katelin volunteered for the second half. It was a little scarey when Katelin was in charge but she got the hang of it pretty quick from the pressure of the back seat drivers.

Relaxing in the sand

Madison couldn't get emough of the ocean, but when Matthew discovered what he could do with the sand he was done with those waves. It wasn't easy getting all that sand off of him especially when he wouldn't let me take him back into the water. His lunch was a little gritty but he still ate it.

Playing In The Waves

We spent the day at the beach in Oceanside Ca with Aunt Kathy, cousin Katelin and Katelin's friend. The kids enjoyed splashing in the water and running from the waves as if they were being chased. Matthew seemed a little scared at first but joined in after watching Madison a few times.

Trip to the Cherry Farm

We took the kids to a cherry farm in Cherry Valley Ca and they had so much fun picking their own cherries and eating them at the same time. Grandpa had to fill the bucket up on his own since the rest of us were too busy tasting cherries. What a difference in taste when you pick them right when they are ready. The cherry juice would burst out when you bit into one, thank goodness Grandma brought warm washcloths. By the time we were finished Matthew looked like he ate the entire cherry farm.

Park Pictures

I love just sitting back and watching Madison and Matthew play together. They get along great and love each other so much. Matthew just adores Madison and always gets excited when we would pick her up from school. Madison is such a wonderful helper with Matthew but sometimes just needs her space. What I love most of all is when they hug or give each other a kiss.

Pak pictures

It was never easy to just sit and pose for the camera so kim had to be creative and just capture every wonderful moment while playing. Which I enjoy the most while looking at photographs.

Father's Day picture

The move to Texas came very quickly so I wanted to create some lasting memmories of where we enjoyed most of our days. Madison and Matthew looked forward to packing up the sand toys and heading over to the community park where we always met up with friends. It was usually a daily event until the heat kept us from going outside to play. I asked a friend that started a buisness taking family photos to capture some playful moments of the kids. Not only do we have beautiful professional photos of where we loved to play but also a Father's Day gift for Daddy.
