Honoring Flag Day

Today we went to Madison's school to honor Flag Day. Following the Pledge and the Star Spangle Banner all the classes sang differents songs. I love how the school gets the community and families involved with celebrations.

FLAG DAY

After taking Matthew's picture with the fire truck, he wanted more pictures with the rescue unit and police car too. Matthew just loves fire trucks. Every time we hear sirens he wants to go find the fire engine. Mario dressed Matthew in the perfect shirt for Flag Day (notice Red from cars). When Matthew saw Madison singing with her class we had to keep him from joining in.

Snakes or Scorpions?

I'm not sure what I would prefer since scorpions would die after falling in our Arizona pool. This little snake fell in our pool the other day and was able to swim around. After researching him on the net I discovered he is possibly a Texas Brown Snake. Thank goodness they are harmless and help with keeping the pest away. I let him go WAY in the back of the yard. Hopefully we won't see him again.
